NEW RADIO PROGRAMS
We have added exciting new programs to both the half-hour and the full-hour Spanish radio broadcast. They will begin to air in the Spring of 2024. Here is a preview of what we have in store for our listeners:
• Hope in Conflict: A series of positive lessons originally written by Damir Kramaric, and translated and voiced in Spanish by Raquel Castillo. The point of these short presentations is to teach us the superior way of Jesus in restoring damaged relationships and becoming peacemakers in an antagonist and fragmented world. Relationships are supremely important for the majority of human beings. Surely, most people would want to hear what Jesus, the Son of God, has to say about developing and keeping good relationships with others, and what to do when conflict is unavoidable.• Family is a Priority: These are teachings about important aspects of the relationship between parents and children. The presenter is Leonardo Quintanilla, a certified counselor who has a ministry committed to helping families navigate through the complex issues arising from modern society. In his presentations, Leonardo keeps a delicate balance between the biblical and the practical. We will also broadcast twice every month an interview style of conversation with Leonardo about the different aspects of healthy family life. We hope to minister to the needs of many families who will tune in to listen to La Voz Alegre. Leonardo is part of our team as a contributor to our radio program.
• From The Heart of a Mother: Dayna Monteagudo, a Social Worker, School Principal, Counselor and author, shares with our audience relevant aspects of the role of a mother. In these compact lessons he encourages every mother to see themselves as women with the most important task: guiding their own children towards their purpose. In these segments, she will give every mother the best tools to make decisions, clarify doubts and inspire the task of parenting.
• Jesus in Everything: Author and speaker, Alfonso Guevara in these short segments, highlights the centrality of Christ; that is, his divine right to be at the center of our individual lives and worlds, as well as that of the church. Also, and no less important, he highlights the supremacy of Christ, which is his divine right to bring us to the center of His world and its spiritual dimension. In these reflections, you will meet Jesus as the center in every sphere of life, as it should be and as we need him to be.
I am so excited for these topics and speakers, and how these new programs will bless our listeners and move them closer to Jesus. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will use these new programs to glorify Christ and bring many to the faith in Him.
