The world is very large! Its population today is 7.7 billion, according to statistics for April 2019 in Wikipedia. It makes us think that there are many people in the world, and indeed there are! Sometimes we wonder how to reach so many people around the world, how can the gospel reach them? Among other possibilities, we can find the answer to this question, on the radio!!! Currently, in addition to the program in Portuguese, we have another 6 (six) programs in other languages, all with the same purpose – to bring the gospel message, the Good News of Salvation to so many other people around the world. One is our dear Ed Ho, who produces programming for the Chinese language, reaching over 1 billion people. Really a significant reach! Congratulations to Ed Ho and the other co-workers and brothers in Christ.
I’m saying all this because in the month of June, I received several emails from people in various places who heard the program in Portuguese, people who somehow understood the message of the Good News, perhaps because they knew the language, perhaps because of the songs in Portuguese, English, Spanish. e fact is that God uses people and He has used us to carry His message.

- I want to share a little bit of our conversations with friends and listeners from Mozambique, Germany, Italy, Chile and the Canary Islands – Spain.
- Rafael, from the Canary Islands, Spain, says he was very excited to hear our broadcasts!
- Giovanni, from Messina, Italy, informed us that the signal is very strong and said: “I hope to hear your station again and be able to write again.”
- Michael, from Germany, not only sent a letter stating that the signal is strong and clear, he also sent a photo of his family!
- Clementino, from Mozambique, approached our senior producer for Portuguese programming to discuss the Bible! He is very excited to learn about God.
To give you an idea of how far our shortwave signal has reached from our towers in Madagascar, locate these points on a map as you read the different places that have heard the Good News. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”
How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!” Romans 10:12-15
