Although many countries in Europe and North America are already returning to their normal activities, such as: public at events and the use of masks not mandatory, Brazil is still experiencing a very delicate moment in the control and vaccination of its population. Unfortunately, we are still far behind in the age groups and stages of vaccination.

During June the maximum age group reached in most of Brazil was 44 years. In Belo Horizonte it stopped after 56 years. The daily mortality rate during the month of June was 1500 people who died per day, a very high number of deaths.

All of this is a reflection of the delay in starting vaccination, controlling the virus and many other variants. The number of deaths is so impressive that we have already reached 500,000 deaths by the virus.

Among these more than 500,000 dead, I want to highlight the death of Mateus Cerqueira. Matthew was a man who gave his life to Christ from his teens. He got baptized and soon began preaching and teaching the gospel and was always involved in the work of Christ. He, with his wife and children, started an evangelistic work in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte and through football got involved with young people and adults with whom he shared the Word of God. His neighbors said that every morning they heard him singing praise to God, and indeed he was excited when it came to love and zeal for the work of Christ.

The truth is that Mateus Cerqueira was a victim of COVID-19. He will be missed in the lives of all those who had the pleasure of being with him and especially in the life of his family. However, I always want to remind and encourage each one of us to have the same love and involvement with the word of God, concern for others and the burning desire to share the word of salvation. For this and much more, our dear brother Matthew will be forever remembered in our hearts. The word of God says:
To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. 1 Corinthians 9:22

About the works developed, I want to highlight first the two lives we did this month. The first was with Danilo Nonato on Shortwave and Radio Listen. We had the participation of several listeners with a reach of more than 158 people.

The second Life was with Lucas Gates talking about Financial Health. We covered topics on how to find non-essential spending and balance the bills as well as what to do with the extra cash.

Extra Cash

Lucas has been helping a lot of people in this financial area and it really was a very interesting time for our listeners and social media followers.

A great month to all who accompany us and continue to pray for Brazil and for the whole world, especially for the countries that continue to suffer from the corona virus. God bless you all!

“especially” for the countries that continue to suffer from the corona virus. God bless you all
