Hello, everyone who listens to shortwave radio, those who are always reading the articles published here on our page, and everyone who accompanied our work of spreading the gospel of God. Here in Brazil we are still fighting the Corona Virus. We thought that quarantine time and social distance would pass soon, but unfortunately we are already entering the fourth month since all this started. We know it is not easy and we are always confident in God that it will soon pass. My children, Júlia and Enzo, always ask God for the corona virus to go away so we can go back to church meetings and also receive all their friends in our house. Continue in prayer for this.
Despite all this, one of our listeners who always writes, Antônio Argolo, sent me an email with news about a quarantine:
“There are already new people here, Sophia was born since the 28th of last month. Despite this period of pandemic and social isolation, we are living in a moment of intense happiness. The attention needs to be redoubled, but God is careful about security. I went back to listening to short waves this weekend. ”
Of course, there is a lot of unemployment and many people struggle to support their families right now. Even so, these are Antonio Argolo’s words, something that is extremely important in our lives, which highlights this time of quality and investment in the family. Sometimes we miss that in our work routine. Therefore, at this moment we can take the opportunity to strengthen our bonds of affinity with our family.

God has blessed our program in a very special way, as we recently started a segment aiming at women, “Espaço Mulher” ( Woman Space), a series of messages thinking about the development of women and family. The name of this series is “The Challenge of Loving.” I confess that the segment is for women but can be very well applied to all men when it comes to truly loving your spouse and really being challenged to love them.
Fernanda Silva, who has recorded this message segment, is a person who has dedicated her time to helping women, mothers and families. She converted to Christ more than 24 years ago, has been married to Felipe Silva for 13. They have two adorable children, Sofia age 9, and Bernardo age 5.
And why talk about the importance of strong relationships? Because we live in a world where everything is disposable. If we do not learn to value our partner and really be challenged to love, we will discard them when they are no longer useful.

KNLS anniversary
Finally, July was an important month as it was the 37th anniversary of KNLS, our first shortwave station in Alaska. So there is much to celebrate in these years. We just have to thank God for getting us here and ask him to grant many, many years, all for the honor and glory of God.
