God is good and His mercy lasts forever. I always like to remember the passage that is in 2 Corinthians 2:9 which says “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” (Isaiah 64:4)
Why do I like this passage? First, because we see how much he loves us and is preparing something far better than this life for those who love him. The second is that right here on this earth we can feel that God has prepared much more than we deserve and blesses us in a very special way.
One of the reasons to thank God is that this birthday month I had the great privilege of spending time with most of my WCB staff and attending a prayer period as well as renewing acquaintance with them since I hadn’t seen them for six months.
World Christian Broadcasting
This moment was important, because along with Andy Baker we had time to talk about some aspects of the program. He and I discussed all that has been good and what we can improve to achieve better results, all to the honor and glory of God. These were special moments and we will keep them in our memories.
In October we also had the prize draw of one Daily Devotional of Max Lucado and also a shortwave book released in Brazil with the name of “Short Waves and the Internet” and the winners were Mateus Alonço from Northeast Brazil and Eudsom Monteiro from the North.
Books
Listeners to the program “Palavra Alegre” are delighted to be able to take part in prize drawings from these two books. 63 people responded to the invitation through WhatsAp and sent messages through the “Palavra Alegre” program website.
Importantly, even during the holidays, we continue to receive feedback from listeners, many of whom have been with us since the beginning of the program. Two comments received the past month:
