What is new? Last month listeners began to hear a new series on Jesus. We are glad to feature brother Xingshi Gao’s remarks on the Gospel John. It is a great honor that brother Xingshi Gao would generously share his reflection on Jesus with us. His voice is gentle, likable, and personal. What is even more special is that brother Gao’s reflection is relatable and relevant. To both believers and nonbelievers, Gao enables us to see how Jesus is meeting our needs, physically and spiritually. For Christians, Gao makes it plain and inviting about how and why to follow Jesus. We are thankful to our Lord for connecting brother Gao with us to bless Chinese listeners worldwide.
Brother Kok-Hai continues uploading Old Testament text on our website. Website visitors now get to read and listen to the Chinese Bible from Genesis to Song of Solomons due to Kok-Hai and Shumei’s efforts. Their efforts build up the depth of our website services. It is a humbling honor that visitors to our website may read and listen to God’s word, may visit the experience of walking with Jesus by faith as featured on the front page daily by various believers. When visitors are touched and benefited by some of our featured program stories, they would stay longer to download those material for revisit or for sharing with others. As visitors proceed to download, they stay at the Chinese website longer. There are days average visiting length to our website is two hours. Thank God for using us to serve Chinese around the world through shortwave radio and through website on internet.
Salina is producing a short video, featuring a Chinese Christian lady witnessing God’s mercy and power on her son, Josiah, whom the doctors considered no chance to live. Josiah is thirteen years now. We hope Josiah’s story leads the effort of adding visual features to the Chinese website.
We know that if not for your prayers and supports, the Chinese Language Service would not be able to serve the way we do today. We truly thank God for you. Please pray for the great people of China and the Chinese people around the world. It is a humbling honor to serve them together with you. May God bless you and your family, and our Chinese friends.
