Our God is much larger than the pandemic. Jehovah God is the Creator of the universe, including viruses. He created the universe with a plan. We are called into Christ according to this plan and for this plan. Even though the pandemic stopped many activities world-wide, God’s plan continues. As Maurice Hall (our founder) and Andy Baker (our CEO) have been demonstrating so well, whether we work in the office or from home, we are faithful every day.
First, an important news. The Old Testament recording in Mandarin Chinese was completed in late April. Now we are making plans to broadcast the audio Bible so the world of Chinese speaking people may listen to the word of God in their mother tongue from World Christian Broadcasting (WCB). Thank you for your prayers and supports. Thanks also go to our best teammates, Edward Short (our previous Senior Producer), Shumei Lee, and Salina Ho for their encouragement, hard work, insight, and patience. Please continue to pray for our efforts.
During the month of April we re-ran some of our best programs when federal and state governments posted strict guidelines of social distancing responding to Covid-19 pandemic.
With the help of family counselor Dr. Jim Anderson. Listeners liked and recognized this series when they were first broadcasted and posted on line. All eight programs were again available on our website in April.
Shumei produced two programs concerning the pandemic, one about how Chinese both in America and in China tried to help each other, and what could we be thankful for the pandemic. She also translated two scripts by Andy Baker about his personal journey as a servant to our Lord from his early days as a young preacher to his current position as the CEO of WCB.
God is the Creator who has our best interest in mind. Even in time of pandemic, His love for us hasn’t changed. Coronavirus does not catch God in surprise. Why doesn’t He stop it? When will this end? Although these are legitimate questions, that one of the most crucial questions is what does God want us to do with our lives now and beyond, is what I asked of our listeners.
So, a new beginning will arise from the pandemic. May more listeners join us in living with new perspective and attitude because of Christ and for Christ. Please increase your prayer efforts for us, I petition to you! Because of you, our co-worker, we are strengthened in our service to our Creator and our listeners. May there be more people saved by Christ.
