A dear listener of China has been listening to our program for twenty years. She began listening with her shortwave radio, but now she listens on her computer. More and more listeners living in cities around the world now listen to our program on our website if they have access to internet service. The sound quality is better and reliable. For this group of listeners and internet users, their on-line habit is an opportunity for us to provide more spiritual nourishment by posting more biblical material on our website. The more content posted, the longer visitors stay at our website to read and to listen. That is our goal of managing and maintaining our website. We pray and hope to facilitate searches for God and understanding about Jesus, as website visitors engage with contents on our Chinese website.
Starting in 2022 we began intentionally uploading more contents and items on our website. There are nine fresh feature programs appearing on the front page of our website on a daily basis. This fresh new day-to-day frontpage image is important because website visitors soon realize that there are new activities daily. They will not visit us in vain, something is always new. Such maintenance is a way to show how responsible and reliable we are to those faithful visitors whom we serve. Hopefully, regular visiting habits could be encouraged among visitors.
What programs are new? In May, we feature a program written by Mrs. Joni Eareckson Tata and produced by Joni & Friends Ministry. Her personal experience seeking to depend on God as she copes with various situations as a handicapped person, shows how real God and his helps are to those who seek to depend on Him.
In May, we feature a program written daily and read by Mr. William Chen. Mr. Chen has served for decades as a senior minister at a Chinese church, teaching and mentoring Chinese speaking people with the gospel in California. His presentation of Bible knowledge is practical and simple which serves our listeners well in seeking to know God.
A group of Chinese Christians from various Asian countries volunteered their service to us by providing testimonies of their personal walk with Jesus. Many of these Christians shared their experience of how they became Christians. One listener wrote and said these powerful witness stories are her favorite.
A selection of Today’s Scripture is also one of the feature programs on our front page. The daily selection of Scripture is a window of communication between God and visitors. The Scripture is a direct and personal way by which God speaks to visitors about who He is and what He has been doing for mankind. You may help by praying for visitors that they will grow to appreciate learning more about God through reading and listening on our website.
We also select programs from our achieve for the Chinese website. These programs introduce God in various ways. Producers and volunteers in the past and today are God-sent servants to assist the Chinese language service as we serve listeners and website visitors every day. We can’t thank God enough for each and every one of them. Please pray for them and pray that God uses their programs to bring many souls back to Him.
