People who like time travel are enjoying our newest drama series “Who’s There.” It transports a present day tv reporter and her producer back in time about two thousand years. They move around Jerusalem and the surrounding areas looking for a scoop. They detect a stirring in the region and they try to find out what’s going on.
Listeners get up close and personal with life in Jerusalem at that time as our investigative journalists interview different people. They befriend a Roman commander, the head of security details for Cesar’s envoy, who almost arrests them for trespassing. They encounter an old man who’s a religious devout, dreaming of liberating his homeland from the Gentiles.
On the trail of a story, they interview a shepherd who claims to have seen an angel and a little girl who visited a special newborn baby in Bethlehem. Later they come across a group of mysterious travelers following the stars in search of a new king. Their journey leads them to the palace, where things take a turn for the worse as the current ruler is upset about this news and attempts to find and kill that child.
Our talented drama writer weaves the Christmas story, with some clever depiction of the culture and social norms of the day, and throws in some anecdotes and humor, to come up with a winner drama series that echoes with our listeners from all walks of life.
