Well into the intricate plot, the listeners find out that the scholar is from a
Jewish background and his protégé is a Christian. They discuss archeology, history, and the different names and characteristics of God in the Old Testament and how it compares to the New Testament. Our talented writer managed to turn one of the most complex theological topics into a thought-provoking discussion as the characters explore ancient texts and practical faith.
A few episodes later, we have another twist in the shape of another scholar who belongs to a different faith and how she sees things from her perspective. We follow the characters as they question the traditional beliefs they were taught and get a new understanding of God.
