Nowadays we, and the entire world, are dealing with the fallout of this COVID-19. I’m writing these words from home as we’re abiding by the stay-home instructions by the authorities. Meanwhile, online radio listening has also increased by about 15%. “These figures indicate that the public are turning to radio in times of crisis,” a Global spokesperson said.
In a time of crisis, people look for information, but more importantly, they are looking for answers, for peace, for hope, for the light at the end of the tunnel. That is exactly what we try to do. We continue to update our programs, focusing more on health awareness. We remind our listeners that no matter what happens, God is always there and His love endures. Perhaps we cannot answer all their questions, but we point them to Jesus, who presents himself as an answer to the questions that have no answer. Our newest series is titled “Jesus Changes Lives.”
Let’s continue to pray for the Lord’s grace and mercy and that He may use these circumstances for His glory and the extension of His Kingdom.
