If you are reading this message, we thank God that you have survived COVID-19 so far, and we will continue to pray for His protection upon you and your family. God has a plan, even in the darkest times of our lives. I came across the poem below whose author l don’t know.
There’s no storm that God won’t carry you through
No bridge that God won’t help you cross
No battle that God won’t help you win
No heartache that God won’t help you let go
God is so much bigger than anything you will face today
Leave everything in His hands and embrace this day confidently.
Know that He will take care of you.
While the world and sub-Saharan Africa are rallying on fighting COVID-19 since January of 2020, the Boko Haram insurgent is on a rampage in Nigeria (West Africa). According to the Council on Foreign Relations, a United States think tank under its Nigerian Security Tracking program, over 2,771 people have died, and the death toll from Boko Haram is increasing sporadically within most northern states of Nigeria. In January 2020, 320 people were killed, in February 625 people died, March 754, and as of May 15, 2020, over 475 people have died in the hands of Boko Haram terrorist group.
Almost all the houses in Ungwan Anjo, a village in Kaduna – a state in the north of Nigeria, were burned down, including several church buildings. Please pray for Christians living in the Northern States of Kaduna, Nigeria, and environs with over 15,000 Christians displaced so far and left with uncertainty on top of the COVID-19 scare.
Irrespective of the waves generated by COVID-19, we continue to hear from our listeners from both East Thuringia and Uelzen, Germany. Michael listened to African Pathways Radio, went to the website, and found “supplementary materials” broadcast according to him. A listener from Finland, proud of his small outdoor antenna radio, listened to the African Pathways Radio program. Other listeners from Tanzania, Nigeria, Kenya, and Liberia all wrote in.
