Thank you for being our partners. Many of you have listened to the African Pathways program over shortwave radio and our websites throughout 2020. Several have sent in comments asking for Bible studies, and a lot have enrolled in World Bible School (WBC) programs. In many of our broadcast programs, we pause to refer our listeners and encourage them to study God’s word through WBC, enroll, and receive Bible lessons one on one with a teacher. African Pathways will continue to partner with WBC in 2021. We plan to bring in other partners who will help propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ 2021. Our mission is to share the story of Jesus Christ with the world.
You will all agree that 2020 was a challenging year the world over and in sub-Saharan Africa. Sub-Saharan Africa was already suffering from malaria, malnutrition, poor economic planning, lack of adequate healthcare system, lack of honest and fair leadership, and a barrage of tropical diseases; Covid-19 came in and compounded the dilemma. When Covid-19 first began, and while many countries in the western hemisphere with better technology were looking for solutions, trying to develop preventative measures, countries in sub-Saharan Africa were lagging, creating worries and concern of the impact that Covid-19 will leave behind in sub-Saharan Africa. According to the World Health Organization and Bill Gates foundation, Africa has been the least affected by Covid-19 prompting health scientists eager to study and determine why the least casualty of Covid-19 is in Africa. Bill Gates wrote, “we don’t know why Covid-19 cases, death is not high in Africa.”
As we step into 2021, we thank World Christian Broadcasting for providing us with new broadcast equipment in our studios to help us offer programs in keeping with 21st-century broadcasting. By God’s grace we are ready, and our programs in 2021 will be better both in content and programming. A happy New Year and God’s blessings to you and yours.
