People listen when we present our daily program “AfricanPathways” through the shortwave radio and our website africanpathways.org. In our “what’s going on” for October, we want to feature four of our listeners who have sent us emails or made contact with us over five times each this year and have personally recommended our programs to their friends. We share this great news because they write to us and confirm. As our listeners are increasing in number, one of the factors we are adopting is encouraging everyone who listens to become a disciple of Jesus Christ by passing along “the things they have heard of Jesus among many witnesses, to other faithful men who shall also pass along to others” as Paul instructed Timothy (Timothy 2:2). We thank all our listeners who recommend our programs to others who listen and recommend to their friends.

We thank our friend Rafael Gustavo Grajeda Rosado, a regular listener from Veracruz Mexico. We thank God that our frequency bounced to Veracruz and Rafael has the opportunity to listen to Africanpathway programs when he is off from work. He listens from the frequency of 17640 kHz at 18:20 hours and according to him, at 13:20 hours in his local time. Praise God for him passing along our program frequency hours to his friends to listen to the teachings of Jesus Christ.

We acknowledge Daniel Muvandimwe a Christian from Rwanda. David listens to our program regularly, a graduate of Colombiere High School with an A2 level diploma. We have been communicating with David often and discussing how to become a disciple of Jesus Christ and help in disciplining others also. David keeps insisting we call him via the cell phone and has provided us with his phone numbers. We pray for David a lot. The majority of Rwandans (over 65%) are Roman Catholic with 9% protestant.

We recognize David M. Angango, a broadcaster from Western Kenya. David listens to our programs regularly and writes to us very often asking for ideas on how to expand his broadcasting ministry to Northern Kenya, Northern Uganda, and South Sudan. He is an ardent listener because he sends us the content of everything he hears from our program. We continue to communicate with David to see if there is a way we can collaborate. This is a man we believe God is sending our way and we pray we can work together in the future to make a disciple out of him and help him to make disciples out of the listeners in his community.

We compliment Timm Breyel from Malaysia. Tim listens to the Africanpathways programs regularly from the Kuala Lumpur area of his city. He sends detailed reports of the broadcast each time he writes to us to show how committed he is. An example of the program contents he sent to us a few days ago is posted below. We appreciate Timm and we are communicating to him to pass along the messages he has heard to others.
