Everywhere I travel, everyone with whom I visit, I am continually asked, “How are things?” I am pleased and encouraged that so many people want to know “How are things”. So far this year, we have heard from more listeners, more website visitors, more followers on Facebook, our 2 Apps, and on the internet than ever. God has opened the door for us to be able to use more platforms that ever. Shortwave radio broadcasts have been our main avenue to connect with people in every country of the world for 41 years. New platforms will be used going forward. This means more contacts, more information, and more people learning about Jesus.
Again, this year, almost 500 friends of this ministry attended our annual fund-raising dinner. Along with our dinner, we added a lunch option to help avoid traffic, driving at night, and for some a chance to come from work during lunch break. Mark your calendar for the 2025 lunch/dinner on April 24th.
We had a change of leadership at our KNLS station in Anchor Point, Alaska. Thomas and Cassondra Klingensmith served us so well over the last few years with Kevin and Nancy Chambers retiring after 40 years of service. Elsan Tadios and Edgardo Labios now lead our team in Alaska.
We covet your prayers for our 8 Senior Producers, our link to the world with the message of Jesus. Pray for the 60+- team members scattered throughout the world. Pray for those who work behind the scenes, and our monitors who live in different places, listening and reporting about the strength and clarity of our daily broadcasts. Pray for those who write our scripts and answers letters, emails, and correspondence from listeners wanting additional information.
