Renato Baptism
The month of July was full of good news. The first was the baptism of Renato André, who lives in the northeast of Brazil, more precisely in the city of Natal, Rio Grande do Norte.
Renato got to know our Radio through a friend, Bruno Lima, and since the beginning of 2021 we have been corresponding via Whatsapp.
In September 2021 we had the opportunity to meet in person at a meeting organized by me and Esdras, in his hometown and we had the participation of 10 more radio listeners including Renato’s mother and grandparents.
In March Ângelo and I started a Bible study with Renato through Zoom and since then we have been talking about baptism and other topics related to the Bible.
Renato André is only 15 years old, visually impaired, but that doesn’t stop him from doing the things he likes, even his dream to be a radio broadcaster.
During the month of July we received numerous contacts from different regions of Brazil and we sent a total of 13 QSL cards, but I would like to highlight the printed cards we sent to: 1 Japan, 2 to China, 1 to Australia, 1 to Belarus, 1 to Germany and 1 for Guatemala.
We also had the opportunity this month to send 3 correspondence courses to listeners in Brazil.
As for our schedule, we continued with the Apocalypse series by Allen Dutton Jr and also continuing the Encounters with Jesus series by Gayle Crowe. We are also continuing the Born of Water and the Spirit series.
Finally, after completing the series on finance, we also did two Lives with Nathan Zinck on finance in the light of the Bible in July. This series was held on Facebook and posted on our Instagram and Youtube platforms. To date, we have reached more than 4,500 people.
