A common saying is, “The Devil is in the details”.Yes, the many hidden elements of our current initiative are challenging hoops we are jumping through every day to build a vital App for this ministry’s outreach. But, in our hearts, we believe that “God is in the details”, that He is revealing the hidden elements needed to create La Voz Alegre’s App and encouraging us to keep building.
In Broadcast and Media Evangelism, you always need to have your eye on the big picture. We want to be aware of potential opportunities and challenges to determine the direction that our ministry is going. However, this does not mean that we can afford to neglect the details. Sometimes it’s the little things that make the difference between reaching a lost soul or not. Small things can add up to big things for our audience.
We have been working every day on the small things that it takes to accomplish something big for the millions of Latin Americans seeking hope every day. The biggest thing on our plate these days is the development of the La Voz Alegre App. We know that our growing radio audience has become accustom to using Apps on their smartphones daily. We want each person listening to have all of our content in their phones, in their homes, and on their hearts.
Some “small” details:
• Determine the best platform for our App
• Assign where they can download the App, Apple, Google, etc.
• Upload each individual audio and video message
• Supply titles in Spanish and English
• Upload photos that correspond with programs
• Offer Bible Study Courses
• Register our La Voz Alegre App with Apple and Google play.
• Develop the App so that it will work hand in hand with our website.
All of these details will add up to something very big for the Kingdom. And as you can imagine, every time we think we are close there are more details.
